After I got the first taste of tearing down the track, I decided to pull the seats and gut the trunk for my next trip. They way I figured it, if I couldn't afford to add more horsepower, I could always pull out some weight. All in all, I believe I managed to pull about 120-130lbs.

This weekend was my third ever outing with the GT (or any car for that matter). It was killer hot, and I got consistent 13.5's with an awful lot of either bogging or spinning, until I finally figured out how to slip the clutch properly. It felt just right off the line.

(ET MPH should be around 104.8-105)

It's an 06 GT convertible, manual, with the JLT CAI, the cheap CMDP's, SLP LM catbacks, 93 tune from Tillman, and heavy as sin 19x9 and 19x10 Saleen rims with Falken 255's all around. Everything else - driveshaft, suspension, gears - is still stock. I hate to admit it, but I managed to completely forget to check the tire pressure. It was probably a bit high.

I think she runs okay for the mods, but I need to go faster still. I don't know if I can get the 60' any further down though. Would love to get into the 1.9's, but with the current wheel setup, I'm not sure that's possible.

But I need to go faster! Must go faster!
