so my randomly started this morning twice. i heard it start and idle thinking maybe my room mate was moving it, but he never went anywhere. so i went outside to check it and no one was around and it was just sitting there running. i have remote start but there is no way i could of pressed it in my sleep considering it was in my pants pocket on the floor. thought i would share it was really weird especially that it did it twice. has this ever happend to anyone before?

maybe someone that lives next to you . has a remote start with the same frequency as your remote??

If there is no way the remote start was engaged manually then the only other alternative is a wiring problem. Did you just have it installed? Or have you had it a while and this is the first time its done it?

Could be RF interference. Most keyless/remote systems work around 315 MHz, and there is alot of business going on in that part of the spectrum (mobile & fixed radio, as well as mobile satellite stuff). Though the frequency is just the carrier, it is possible for bursts of interference to cause quirky things to happen. Happy Halloween!

Man, I was considering bypassing the Neutral safety switch on my car to do remote start... now I'm not so sure lol. I never leave my car in gear, but I don't want my loud Mutha *ucka cams thumpin away at 2am either LOL.
