Glass Roof & GT500

Just a quick question... Did they make the 09 GT500 with the glass roof? Or was it just limited to the GT/V6 in the 09 model year?

For 2009 I'm pretty sure it only came on V6 and GT models. It was a $1,995 option on the V6 or GT.

There was a one of one 2008 Black GT500KR with the glass roof sold at BJ years ago, but that's the only one I know of.

Was it an 09? I know the later gt500s had it.

The glass roof was available on all trim levels from 09-14. Only about 4.6% of those cars had it however.

I’m pretty sure there were some aftermarket options to have them installed as well.

There was no FACTORY option in 2009 for a glass roof on a GT500. It was only an option for the V6 and GT.

The glass roof didn't appear as a FACTORY option on the GT500 until 2010.

Because you like the look over the 10-14? Personally I fall into this camp except I like the 11-14 in all other departments the 07_09 haven’t gotten too nutty in prices compared to the latter.

For me, I prefer the 09 styling, and it also helps that I could get an 09 gt500 for like 25k vs 60k (apparently)... Lol

Just to be a little more precise on this, the glass roof option was only available on the V6 and GT premiums. Not the base models.
Of course, there are places that can install a glass roof for you. Check out places that install sun roofs.
