Do you have a 2011-2014 Coyote? Is it NA? Do you want to get blown?

We're just finishing up the design work on the Coyote blower kit. But we are using our 2015. That presents two problems. One, it's a 2015 so a few things are a little different than the 2011-2014's. Two, our design process is not a "install" so it's impossible to do it in order and take pictures so I can write install instructions. So I need to do an install on a 2011-2014.

I have a 2012 that my wife and I both drive as a fun/summer car. She doesn't want a blower (she's crazy) and I really don't want to spend the money on that car anyway. I have plenty of other stuff to pay for. It is an option though, just not at the top of my list.

Here is the deal. I would need your car for 2-3 weeks. I'm not exactly sure what I will run into when I'm doing the install so I don't want to put a real tight timeline on it. It should only take me a few days.......but, I have learned not to count my chickens an all that. I can't afford to give you a kit for free. At that point I would just use my own car. What I can do is give you everything at my cost and do the install for free. My off the cuff guess is that will run about $3800-4000. That will get you a good basic kit with features/quality on par or better than Roush, Whipple, etc. Or if you want you can use the opportunity to upgrade a few things (that you won't get with any kit) like the HE, water pump or if you're feeling frisky a 2.3L TVS.

I will even trailer it to get tuned (there won't be any canned tunes at that point). You will need to pay for the tune and tuner if you need one though. Just like you would with any blower.

I won't need the car until mid March. The car will be indoors and locked down in a climate controlled shop 24/7. The install will be PERFECT/OEM. I am super OCD when it comes to stuff like that. The car will look like it came that way, not some hacked together crap.

We expect the base/safe/OEM like combo will make 550rwhp no problem at all. And that will still leave a lot of headroom in the M122 blower. What we are looking for is a very stock like 550hp that is daily driver tame (until you go WOT of course).

I'm in Ypsilanti, MI about 40min west of Detroit.

Let me know if you're interested.

Damn, I will totally let you use my 2014 5.0 if I have the money by then. I'm in northwest Indiana too so it's not too far of a drive...

What about some one who would like your manifold with say a 2.9?

Good question. We have been designing it from the start so it will take a 2.9, 3.4, 4.0, etc. But, it will take some fiddling before we have all the details sorted.

-A big Whipple should clear the firewall. If it doesn't we already have a plan for that. We will just make a "adapter" plate to change the offset front to rear.

-There is going to be some belt drive goofyness to sort out. This will be the biggest hurdle. The only 10 rib systems I have seen for the Coyote have been for the Cobra Jet. And that just won't work on a street car with AC, etc. Plus they are over $2000. I have in my head how to solve it, and it's not as complicated or as expensive as what we did on the R-spec. But it will be some fiddling. The biggest thing is it will need a custom balancer. Your IW would be a good start for that. I want to run the 10 rib on the inside toward the cover and then push the 6 rib for the water pump and alternator out the 14mm that would be needed to clear the 10 rib. That's as easy as an offset water pump and alternator pulley and a spacer for the tensioner/idlers. So not a big deal. Just time consuming in fiddly. It could be run as an 8 rib but all of the same mods would need to be done, may as well just go 10.

-The car would probably need a hood. Maybe. Depends on how much we can lower the motor and clear the headers.

If that is something you want to do I will need a guinea pig for that too. Same basic deal would apply except I would need more time and the cost of the blower would drive the price up. The one advantage you would have is that I wouldn't have to charge you for the belt/pulley stuff. We would be making all of that as we went so there is no real "cost" to it. If we release that as a kit that won't exactly be cheap. Or you could take your chances with the 6 rib drive, but I don't suggest it.:omfg:

I won't be ready to look at that until early summer though.

Well I'm dead serious about it. When it gets to that point let me know.
