Awesome man! Im jealous, still waiting for the right tap for the oil fitting so i can get the rest of this piping on.
The i gota call mike to setp up tuning appointment.

LOL, well your going to own me when you get yours all done. You are a big step ahead of me (built motor), I envy that. Hopefully next year I will start on that. :thumb2:

So who will be getting tuned first, you or Greg? ..haha. I know his install is on the back burner for now while he is gone. Mike is going to be a busy man.

Hell yeah, I need to get me some ET Streets pronto!

You all think 26" tires will be to short with the blower and 4.10's in the 1/4? It will be close. I may go with a 28".

27" would be perfect but don't know of any 17" drag tires that come in that diameter.

17" Wheels and 26" ET streets are a bad combo and can result in broken drive train parts. Not enough sidewall for any flex to pad the force of the lauch. Go with 28" if you can't get any 15" wheels.

I ran 26" tall tires many times on my car and know manyyyyy others who have done the same without any issues. The 26x11.5/17" ET Streets and 275/40/17 ET DR's are quite a popular choice for the stock 17's.

I was more worried about running out of 4th gear with 4.10's and the blower. Thanks for the heads up Eddie, I think I am going to go with 28" tires to be safe. Maybe try and find some 15" rims as well, money permiting of course.

Another option is the MH Drag Radials. There are about 28" in diameter... I'd rather have bias-ply this time though.

Looks like you are going to become a pro at tapping oil pans...lol. Good luck, let me know if you all need anything during the install

You've got a lot more power now though. I've seen plenty of axles and diffs break with 26x17's and a good hooking track. It's your risk to take. Just giving you a heads up that I'd rather be safe than sorry if I were you.

Cool thanks for the heads up. I did throw some Mosers in due to a bent axle a while back. So If anything where to go it probably be the actual diff itself.

Looks good! I like the more flow lower grill, but are you not worried about kicked up road debris without any protection?

Well it's after 2 am and I am finally home. Best pull of the night was 504/450 STD. But I didn't want that much on the stock bottom end so we pulled some timing to get it in the 480's I believe. I am tired as hell so I will post a thread with videos and dyno sheets tomorrow night.

BUT WOW, the things pulls hard as hell. I love it! Big thanks to Mike@Mid Atlantic Performance. He spent about 2.5 hours with the car and got it dialed in great. Car drives fantastic! I am already addicted to boost. Very safe tune BTW. Ended up with 13.5* max timing.

Now it's time to work on the bottom end, fuel system and up the boost..haha. Maybe next year if it lasts that long.

:naughty1:

And no I am not really worried about debris with the bumper opened up. It would get in there even if it wasn't.

@Terry, just get a blower already, trust me you will not regret it!

Car sounded good last night, made good power for the little amount of timing it had in it

I agree, 13-14 degrees at those number is very nice, yeah how many lbs is he running 10-11?

I gota talk to Mike soon about getting a startup email tune to get me out there to the dyno.
