If I had to guess I would say that isn't the final setup for the center console. Those buttons just don't look right in there.

Was about to say the same. Actually, I AM about to say the same. Just doesn't look like a finished product yet. A lot of tweaking (or twerking) need imo. I wouldn't get too upset about it. Not until the final reveal. For now it's not looking fantastic.

Looks like the camaros interior

Agreed especially with the location of the toggle switches. All those buttons in the center and steering wheel look like a cluster fuck to use. Also push button start on dash.....Lame

I dig it. I love how the new center stack looks. VERY happy to see that ford left actual buttons for HVAC. I absolutely despise using the MFT touch screen to navigate that shit.

I like the rear seats too. I don't put anyone back there so I just like them to look pretty.

Paddles on the steering wheel? Must be 7 speed dual clutch transmission.
Game changer, for sure.

Really, the steering wheel looks like it's having a herpes outbreak with all those buttons. Ew.

Cooled seats, though. Don't remember that being an option with my car... I might look at options if it's nice enough.

ok i see the paddle with the " - " assuming theres a + on the other side. That shifter needs to go though. Its so tall and awkward. Needs to be small for option P R N D, and let the paddles do the rest. Once its in drive it needs to be small and out of the way.

And the entire center console looks like shit, steering wheel is equally a cluster fuck.

I hope y'all realize that won't be the production interior, it'll be close, but not exactly what you see there.

I agree about the steering wheel looking like that of the camaro, which isn't bad IMHO. I like the camaro wheel. Other stuff looks pretty good to me, but there is still a lot hidden.

Exactly, They would not let these pictures be taken if it was production ready. The fit and finish of the dash looks like it was slapped together in a hurry.

That plastic center with the fake stitching looks like ass IMO. The buttons just don't seem to fit that center stack, and the mule driver has worn the lettering off the defrost button already

So you're saying there will be a badger?

No way Ford pays for a badger (maybe in the GT 500?)... they will just use a couple rabid chipmonks and include replacing them in the basic warranty.

It looks like the Mustang is going back to having a vestigial back seat. Just look at how little head room there is back there.

I wouldn't discount it quite yet. We don't know how deep those seats are. They could have quite a bucket to them. It appears from the picture that the headrest might be integrated into the seat. If that is the case, these seats might go down quite a bit further than the curent model, and if so, provide for some of the most comfortable and supportive rear seats found in a mustang yet.

As far as the controls, I wouldn't get hung up on them either. As someone on mustang 6g noted, it appears that the controls might be 3d printed, given their rough textured appearance. If that's the case, ford could be experimenting with a variety of configurations in their mules, of which this is only one example.

Hadn't thought of 3d printing. This seems a perfect application of the technology, too. Here's hoping that is the case and the final product is cleaner.

With IRS you wouldn't think they could sit too deep, would they?
