PERENNIAL WAXXER
I'm loving the headroom in the back seat. I just wish they would make the rear seats out of molded fiberglass, or strap an angry badger back there to really fine tune the level of comfort they are going for

Exactly, They would not let these pictures be taken if it was production ready. The fit and finish of the dash looks like it was slapped together in a hurry.I hope y'all realize that won't be the production interior, it'll be close, but not exactly what you see there.

So you're saying there will be a badger?
It looks like the Mustang is going back to having a vestigial back seat. Just look at how little head room there is back there.
I wouldn't discount it quite yet. We don't know how deep those seats are. They could have quite a bucket to them. It appears from the picture that the headrest might be integrated into the seat. If that is the case, these seats might go down quite a bit further than the curent model, and if so, provide for some of the most comfortable and supportive rear seats found in a mustang yet.
As far as the controls, I wouldn't get hung up on them either. As someone on mustang 6g noted, it appears that the controls might be 3d printed, given their rough textured appearance. If that's the case, ford could be experimenting with a variety of configurations in their mules, of which this is only one example.
With IRS you wouldn't think they could sit too deep, would they?
