After finally getting his gears right, (which I told you (Greg) a month ago by the way...:naughty1:) Greg's car showed some git-up-and-go last night at Irwindale.

This is exciting for me considering we have almost the exact same turbo systems but I have 50 more cubes and far greater heads/train/cams than he does. I may need a wheelie bar...lol

5.41 @ 132 in the 1/8 ain't too shabby...

Wow, getting a little sideways top end. It sounds amazing

No doubt. Another big power turbo car (Isreal) crashed in about the same spot a couple weeks ago. His was sad as he went head first into the wall at about 120 mph. The track is not really set-up for really fast cars on the top end. It's a little sketchy on the top end and has always been as only the right lane carries on up top.

He was definately driving the hell out of that on the top end. He actually crossed the line after the traps. He definately would of had lifted if he was going for the full 1320.

Yep - looked to me like he was heading for the left wall and then moved out a bit and swerved right... sketchy for sure...:chairfall:

Damn that looked like a scary ride,

Do you know how much boost he was building off the line? What stall is his converter?

That track looks like it would make me nervous. Definitely not much room if things get a little squirrley at the top end.

Nice pass... kudos to Greg!

And sketchy is an understatement. Kind of reminded me of the top end at the Perris track. That place was awful. Irwindale is 10x better.

Hey, Mark. You would probably know the answer to this question. Is there a quicker mod motor Mustang on the West Coast?

Mark we cant wait to see what your car runs. Greg says he knows its going to MPH like crazy. He keeps complaining the shut down is too small at Irwindale at that MPH. Heres a video I made of his run, when yours goes out I will throw your car in it. BTW the second run in this video the seat lock broke and he slid back! We are welding it now.

You guys are too fast for my Shelby :dead2:
