Hello everyone!
I recently purchased my first suspension parts from griggs racing.
I ordered the lower control arms and relo brackets. I'm going to temporarily run an adjustable phb (if you find one, let me know) until I get this motor built.
once I get this motor finished and turbo back in, I will be purchasing their torque arm and watts link!

I look forward to posting pictures when the parts come in.

I love my griggs setup; good choice.

Currently I have the TA, WL, and LCAs with relocation brackets. Lemme know if you need any installation info.

You planning on doing a full SLA build?

Definitely looking into it! I was hoping to be saving for that now, but I had to do an emergency motor build -.-
Lol

How do you like the setup?

I know exactly how that goes lol. Popped my motor awhile back.

I love it. I was running over 500 at the wheels with 3.55 gears and it would mostly hold traction in 2nd. This is on the factory 235mm tires, as in the OEM tires that are seven years old lol.

Damn!
I had 460 w/3.55s and 295 nt555s
I could not keep it in a straight line until I put the drag radials on.
In first and second gear, I'd lose it above 4500 rpm
I can't wait until I hook.
I'm shooting for 650 ish after the motor build

It makes a world of difference with the TA and WL. The car doesn't feel anywhere near as skittish over bumps and the traction loss is very predictable. You'll love it once you get it.

I'm looking forward to it. Do you plan on getting the rear coilovers relocation brackets?

Yea when I build my axle I'm doing the coilovers with all the brackets. The plan is to cut off all the old brackets like the spring and panhard mounts and weld all the new stuff on.

That is awesome! I hope to be at that point this time next year! (Hopefully sooner)

Actually, I have a quick question.
Are the lca relo brackets weld in?
Trying to decide if I do the install at my place or at my friends (he's a welder)

They're bolt in. TA requires a couple of brackets to be welded in on the frame bars, and the WL requires a mount to be welded in on the Driver's side.

Okay, good deal!
Did you feel the need to weld in the relo brackets for additional security? Or is it not worth it?

No, they use Grade 8 hardware and are also braced against the factory LCA mounts. They aren't going anywhere.

I plan to weld them in just to clean things up for the most part. The added security doesn't hurt, and since I'll be welding and cutting anyways it's an easy add on.

Lolol
I actually plan on getting my car tuned by lpf, because they're the ones that sold my turbo kit.
And the "local guy" resulted in a grenaded motor.

I've been eyeing their kit for my truck... Not sure how I feel about it.

Lemme know if/when you're in town though. I'd love to meet up and shoot the shit.
