grudge races

might have a grudge races coming up against some of my buddies, and im looking to see how i should do.

first one im almost 100% sure i will win.

second one im not so sure off, but the guy keeps running his mouth about how fast is car is, so he took me for a ride an it didnt seem that fast to me.

80 Corvette auto, 350(says its built, but if i had to guess i would say maybe a mild cam, mostly chrome dress up parts and exhaust work but not sure. when i went for a ride in it it didnt seem like it was that fast.

First one, yeah, he's good if he can break 13.50 in that car. You should have that one.

Second one could be difficult. If it's an L82 with heads, intake, cam, exhaust, etc. it will be about 270-280'ish rwhp - if it's done well. I think. If it's the L48, it should be a bit lower. Also, if it's the stock auto, it's lower yet. Remember reading somewhere that stock for stock, the manual had 5% less drivetrain loss than the Hydramatic. He will have a slight weight advantage over you though, so you could get rid of all the junk in your trunk to try and offset that advantage a bit. The front passenger seat is a piece of cake to remove as well, and it's heavy.

the g35 youll beat for sure as long as you dont try launching it at 1800 rpms on stock tires.the second one im not to sure off.i havent seen an 80 corvette at the track without nitrous.
