An update! I've been out of the country on vacation for a little while, just got back to find a few gifts from the UPS man sitting at my door.

Just started the VMP TVS blower install on Saturday, overall the install took 3 hours or so, including changing the spark plugs. Got the install finished up just a little while ago and started up. I have not taken it for a drive yet, since it is 4 am, but it idled and ran great in the garage. Lol.

Other parts I have waiting to go on this week:
-Lethal Off-road X pipe
-Afco Dual Fan Heat exchanger
-VMP 3x intercooler reservoir
I also picked up a set of 72 lb injectors, I'll install those if necessary.

I'm planning on installing my Innovate LC1 wideband and Autometer Cobalt boost gauge as soon as I get them taken out of the 'vert.

Drove the car to work this morning. It drove like a bone stock car! I did not beat on it too hard, as I don't have my wideband hooked up just yet.

First thing I noticed, under 3/4 or more throttle I heard what sounded like detonation. I called VMP and BJ told me to go through on my handheld and take out 1 or 2 degrees of timing. I thought that the sound could be because the tune was set for an off-road X pipe, while I still had the stock midpipe with cats. So after work I swapped the Lethal X pipe on and the sound/detonation seems to be gone completely. I still did try to take out some timing with my handheld, but did not know which setting to change.

This thing just pulls and pulls now! I can honestly say it is more powerful than the vert, but it just feels so smooth, not the same raw feeling that I had in the vert. I love that it runs and drives like a stock car, though. I averaged 23.5 MPG on the highway as well!

Sounds like you have another badass machine. Gt500's are badass to start with but yours just looks the part now too.

Thanks man! I appreciate the compliments!

Very nice man what numbers are you expecting with the new blower ?

The kit is rated at 750 crank HP. The average seems to be around 625-650 WHP with the same setup.

Not sure on the year of the Murcielago, I believe it was a 2004 or 2005, 6 speed manual. We just left a huge car meet at Buffalo Wild Wings and I was headed to drop a friend off. I turned left and heard someone honk at me, looked in my mirror to see the Murcielago coming up next to me. I pulled my phone out and handed it to my friend for her to record the race, however she did something wrong and missed the only clean run we got. The other runs the shitty driver missed a gear every time. We ran 4 times, from about 35-40 up to 80, when he missed a gear. The clean run we finally got was from 40 to about 120 or so. I pulled a good 2-3 cars on him, he gave me a thumbs up and drove off.

Haha bad ass! He needs to stop missing gears. The car is a beast nonetheless, good job with her bro!

Thanks guys! Still need to get my heat exchanger and larger intercooler reservoir installed, just being lazy about it. I planned on doing it today, but my rear brake pads began eating the rotors, so I had to change them out.
