Overall I want it to have a fairly stock appearance. I will be keeping the yellow turn signals/side markers and will be adding 2011+ SVTPP wheels. It should have a sleeper look to it, I think! lol.

I've been needing to get the windows tinted, I just have not found the time to drop it off. I will be getting 5% all around and possibly a light tint on the windshield.

I did this on one of my cars and got this

I even had the front windshield Medium one piece tinted. On a sunny day you couldn't see in the car if you put your face to the window!!! LOL!

Stiff fine FML!!!!

Another scenario, I went to the State Police Troop here to ask a question when I had my '07, yup, I was just asking a freakin question, the friendly officer saw my car in the parking lot, totally ignored my question, went and got his tint meter and threatened me with a ticket. LOL!!!!!! Never did answer my question.

I must say I like the GT vert setup better so far. That 08 gt500 is plain jane to me still. Better hook it up good with big power and looks! gonna take some work to get back to where you were.

Nice build and upgrade! I went a similar route and acquired a GT500 while i part out my GT. The mod bug is in full effect , came back for vengeance worst than ever!

I really got to avoid threads like this.. I'm de-modding my GT as we speak and I'm really fighting the urge to mod the Shelby I just acquired. It's just blows my mind with a smaller pulley, CAI, idler pulley, and a tune you can be at almost 600RWHP with less then I spent on my Kooks LT headers and O/H pipe on my GT!!!! I just need to slowly back of threads like theses... Lol

I do love the potential of the car out of the box, but it's going to take more than a pulley and bolt ons to get back where I was.

Honestly, after I'm done parting out and selling the vert, the GT500 should be paid for with a little left over. The GT500 has been my dream car since it came out, and I couldn't be happier about owning one.
