Have any of you seen that 5.4L Twin turbo code red youtube video?
never to see factory production
the engine set up itself is probably close to 2X the current MSRP of a base GT500

The Code Red is offered as a "post production" add on through Shelby. It's got nothing to do with Ford.

I never said it was a production car, what I meant by production is production by Shelby.

Ah, so Shelby isn't even going to offer it now? That sucks for anyone who was considering it. As overpriced as I thing it was, it would still be cool to have a TT car built by them. I'd imagine it would be pretty rare.
Gary at Shelby approached NRE to build the car, it was to be branded as a Shelby but its build and motor is pure NRE. But yes the car is not going to be built, the cost would be exorbitant and Shelby decided to go a different direction. Of course there is a lot more to the story than that, but lets just say it did not end up as a good situation for either party.
Sooo....how about this...if it was you, would you buy a 2012 Boss 302, or a 2011-2012 GT500 and why?

Cars purpose? It would be a daily driver, nothing special..maybe the strip here and there. Cars are meant to be drivin...
a shelby built TT would be bad ass to have and to hold onto.
Whats the cars purpose? If it were me its a no brainer 2011 or 2012 GT500 with the SVTPP. 1G on the skidpad bone stock and near 500 rwhp bone stock, keep it until the warranty expires or until I get impatient. And then pump it up to about 700 rwhp with a TVS blower and do a GR40TT suspension on it.
