These were my dyno numbers (avg):
Stock H with cats 297.75 RWHP, 308.25 RWTQ
O/R prochamber 301.5 RWHP, 304.15 RWTQ.
Prochamber w/hi-flows 304.15 RWHP, 312.3RWTQ.

Do you think the increase with the Hi-flows was due to an increase of back pressure?

I want to get a Pro-Chamber to go with my Mac BoomTubes and I was debating whether to go catted or not.

If your thinking about getting longtube headers down the line then you should wait on getting a new x/h pipe because once you get the longtubes you will need a shorter midpipe to hook up to them. Thats what i did and it sounds amazing, and has the extra hp from longtubes.

I agree. If this H or X pipe is for sound only with a set of loud mufflers, fine. However, if you goal is to achieve an increase in power and torque, as well as good sound, then save your money for a set of long tube headers, which often come with their own H or X pipe (catted or O/R).

It may be because of the back pressure. I would go catted prochamber, but hi-flows not the prochamber that splices into the stock cats. The O/R procamber with boomtubes might be too loud and it will trumpet at certain RPMS. The splice in prochamber, from what I have read, will be a little deeper but a little quieter than the catted H pipe. Prochamber with hi-flows is a good middle of the road set-up. Louder than stock, yet only slightly quieter than the O/R set-up. It will also produce a deeper tone than the O/R.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Thanks for confirming that. What Hi-Flows are you running. I read decent reviews on Basanni Hi-flows and Magnaflows.

I wonder how well itd add power if I had a set of hi-flow cats welded in place of my stock cats. You think itd be worth doing?

A offroad mid pipe is worth about 5-6 rwhp. The gains between one or the other are very little and not really recordable. Can't really account for 1 rwhp..

Do most people run an axle back with it or a muffler delete?

Good question. I am looking for a good... ie cheaper substitute for LT's to improve sound. Not wanting to spend the $ or have the hassle of a driveway header install. I currently have spin tech mufflers with an xpipe, but I am wanting more.

If it's an o/r prochamber I would run axlebacks. Straight thru and chambered would work. Even though the o/r prochamber is a little quieter than an o/r h or o/r x, muffler deletes may still be too loud.

Anybody? I was thinking of getting the bassani catted x and it looks like I might be able to use it later with long tubes?
