I am a tech rep for the MK160 Gun Fire Control System, computer system that shoots the 5" gun on the front of the DDGs, and the MK46 Optical Sight System, the camera system right above the bridge on the DDGs.

Going on a cruise to Elizabeth City with some Corvettes, Vipers and other Mustangs, might stop at the auto show after since it doesn't start until 10am tomorrow.

Just saw an unmarked black '12 Mustang police car in Chesapeake on Cedar. Factors to note:

1. ILLEGALLY dark tinted windows, sides and rear.
2. Chrome/black cylindrical antennae located center, forward on trunk lid.
3. Stock FM antennae still in place (or it looks like the stocker)
4. Uniformed officer driving
5. Tint too dark to see any strobe lights.
6. Regular VA plates
7. Very clean car for black paint

The thing that got my attention was the Red Bull can sized chrome/black antenna on the trunk and the way too dark windows. Not many around here have tint that dark unless they have out of state tags. The regular VA tag had me fooled for a minute until I pulled up next to him and with enough light coming through the his windshield saw the uniform.

Watch out, they are out there!

I took the fox out for a little scoot today. I need to do one of two things. Either get some stickier tires or keep my foot out of the gas pedal. That thing get zero traction but it sure was fun. I think I'll try some Notto NT05R's.
