Is that a Barska scope?? Looks like the the same scope I have on my Mossy .308. If so, make sure your rings are torqued down to german specs....

Yes, it is a Barska 6.5-20x 50mm AO Varmint Target Dot Riflescope. They run $170 retail but it is on Amazon right now for only $66. Reviews for it are good, 4.3 out of 5 stars from 84 reviews. Some say it gets a little fuzzy after 17x zoom, but the majority seem to like it for the price.

Agree, must get it on there gutentight. How do you like yours?

Its ok, I need to read the manual on it. I dont fully understand the adjustments on the eyepiece. It took me forever to dial it in, but having loose rails and loose rings didnt help. Im confident that I can get a kill shot @ 100yds on every shot with it. I would like to pick up some quality Hornady rounds and see what I can do from 200 and 300yds @ C2. Im not ready to throw a $500 leupold on it.

Yes, I'm looking to head out to C2 once I get it in and see how she does in the 200/300 yard range. Probably head out there on a sunny weekday (like today!) and have a blast. One thing I like about the Mini 14 Target, it doesn't have a rail, scope rings mount direct, so one less thing to come loose.

You two preparing for the zombie apocalypse?

Yes. Looking forward to 300 yard headshots. :chainsaw:

If anyone is interested, heading out to Greenbrier Cinema Cafe to watch "Cloud Atlas" at 4pm and taking my 32 oz beer mug with me for some O'Connor Red Nun Ale, and the wife as the Desig. D.
