The OEM trunk is really not that heavy. I have mine off to get it repainted and I could easily carry it. About 20-25lbs? Can't see a Composite trunk being that much lighter.

The only upside to this would be is you want to delete your spoiler and have a clean badgesless look I suppose.

Not to mention these are front heavy cars and removing weight from the rear won't help in the handling department.

It's pin on, meaning no under layer support can't mount to factory hinges and would flex like a lift off hood. This is meant for racecars

Oh so must be super lightweight
