Hate to ask, but give me your opinion on the best thermostat housing

I hate these types of questions because I keep thinking they've been answered somewhere. I did a search on this forum and others and the best info I've seen pertained to Explorer 4.0 threads. I'm not sure if the Explorer-fix is a direct answer as I would think the differences in engine bays would have things moved around a bit.
So... does anyone have an opinion on the best thermostat housing for the 4.0 Mustang? From what I've seen there's a replacement that costs around $150-$200, but I would think there are other (cheaper, but not cheap) metal housings out there somewhere.
Any info is appreciated!

As far as I know there is only one aluminum thermostat housing for the 4.0. And it is worth getting because the plastic one WILL fail.
