Headlight help 2011+

Newb here and I just bought a 2011 GT/CS Convertible. Love this car so far but I cannot see at night. Headlights are the regular Halogen headlights . I am needing to know what I can do to make them better and brighter. Do I repalce bulbs, or do I replace the whole light assembly with something else?
also the fog lights are in the lower valance and are also about useless except for looks. Anything I can do to help them? Bulbs or whatever????? Thanks in advance for any help.

Beyond finding a halogen that puts out better light. Look into putting some HID retrofits in the housings. Projectors and bulbs

Seems like there's a decent selection of aftermarket projector housings. I'd go that route with an HID kit.

I keep looking at the various selection of aftermarket LED and HID Conversion kits but,,, 1 person says they are great and the next guy says they are trash. They are tooooooo expensive to keep ordering and trial and error trying. On here now searching through the forum using search and not one really solid answer so far. Ill keep looking and hopefully can or will give me a serious idea.

From what I've read, LEDs for headlights are generally worthless (at least in the aftermarket).

I bought some mishimoto hids for my car. Still working on retrofitting them. But bench testing they are bright as hell and great cutoff.

Don't just get his bulbs in a halogen reflector housing. They are cancer. Buy correct components

Welcome and congrats on the new ride.

I put a Putco wiring harness in my 2012 and it made a significant improvement in light output. The stock wiring is slim and does not allow full power to reach the bulbs. The Putco sends battery voltage to the bulbs to make them work at rated output. I did need to get some ribbed wire wrap and some fancy electrical tape to keep everything looking nearly stock. The Putco harness came with a bright yellow plastic sheath that I could not tolerate, lol.

There is a fellow in Texas who makes halogen-to-HID harnesses and HID retrofits for those who want HIDs in their Mustangs. I'll look for some contact info for you.

Thanks nyuk98gt. I might try that harness before I try new headlights. I have been looking at the 2014+ headlights, they look good and are a direct fit. Ill wait and see if you find the guy making the conversion harness. Thanks again.
