Hey, been looking around on the site for a couple months now. Bought our first Mustang a few months ago. Coming from the C5 world so bear with my Mustang ignorance. I think we found a kickazz car that all 4 of us can cruise in now. I have a lot of questions, looks as though the previous owner completed a few appearance mods (wheels, grill, gt500 spoiler), but as far as I can tell no bolt ons or performance mods. I look forward to hanging out here and learning all I can from the 5.0 experts. Here's a few pics to satisfy your curiosity!

Thanks guys, picked this car up near Pittsburgh, back in April. Have been rolling through various Mustang forums since. Trying to educate myself. I really don't plan on going crazy with it the mod wallet won't keep up. So far bought some hood struts (hated the rod) and a nice set of GT mats. Looking for an ab next and then a CAI and possible tune.

welcome, nice looking 5.0

Thanks Black we have enjoyed! As I said we had a C5 and loved it, but with two kids it was hard to find time to take it out. This 5.0 is above my expectations, even with the 20's on it.

I have noticed most of the mustang forums have some strict rules on posting numbers before you get full privileges. That's cool tho I guess it keeps down on the riffraff hanging around!

Welcome and beautiful ride man!

Those wheels really set your car off. Which exhaust were you thinking of going with?

Not real sure. I had GHL on my vette and liked the throaty rumble they created with an xpipe. The Borla S types are interesting and the Roush sounds good on you tube. On the road the GT500's sound good..... will probably try to find a used set, definitely don't want anything that drones or breaks the bank!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes, this site seems to be very informative!

First off I guess I need to find a car cover for winter storage. Seems to be a few new ones posted around, but dayum they are high. If anyone knows of one lightly used give me a heads up.

With the rear spoiler on there I guess I need a gt500 cover....right?

Welcome from myrtle beach I was born in Fairmont West Virginia. Assuming by your user name you work in the coal industry up there ? My dad worked in the coal mines for 20 years before being laid off and moving down here and you may have heard of my uncle ? Mike Caputo. If not welcome to the forum and great group of guys on here

Yeah he is in the political forum here, heard of him, but I don't keep up with politics too much. Seems our prez and bleeding hearts are trying to disrupt everything this country was built on. And, yes I proudly work in the coal industry in Beckley. Hopefully the industry as a whole can weather the storm and get coal back to where it once was and where it should be.

Welcome to the forum. Great looking car, love those wheels on it.

FWIW, I am running a compltely stock exhaust set up with only the Roush AB, and I couldn't be happier. Great tone, NO drone, sounds just right when cruising around, and when you mash the accelerator, she really sings. It's not quiet, but not obnoxiously loud either.
