the rockauto.com over the axle tubes dont have that flat spot on them that the stock ones have. right where it goes up to go over the axle the bottom of the tubing flattens out to clear it. ask me how I know.

It rubs like a bastard and makes all kinds of fucked up vibration noises. Especially with cams.
I actually heated them up and flattened them myself to clear. I didnt feel like shipping them back, and paying 400$ for the ones at Ford.

There's 8" of clearance above the damn panhard brace. You'd think they would just move the bend an inch down the pipe so they wouldn't have to smash the pipe flat for clearance. But WTF do I know?

Well my original plan was to replace the over axle because i have resonators that hit my driveshaft loop. Looks like I'm just gonna trade one clunk for another....ugh, should've forked out for the cervini side exhaust! I knew it!

Well, my order got cancelled because apparently they no longer carry that part.

So now...should I hunt down OEM pipes or just get the Pypes ones? Can anyone confirm if the Pypes ones have the dent/flat spot?

I'm pretty sure that all of the aftermarket over axle pipes are round all the way through. From what I understand, that's the whole point of going aftermarket with them.

The Pypes ones for sure are round throughout.
