I went to the drag strip for the first time with this car after it I put on BBK Tuned lenth headers, Bassani O/R X-Pipe and Bassani axle-back mufflers. I ran a 1/4 mile of 14.67 and 60' times of 2.4. I had very little traction most of the night. Spinning off the line and pretty much turning the car sideways shifting from 1st to 2nd. The car has not been tuned, but I figured I would be at worst running 14.1's. Instead of a best 14.67.

The car has the regular street tires with the 18" chrome rims that come stock with the 2009 Mustang Gt's

Could the car be running rich? Lean? No traction?

Any Ideas?

You should get it tuned first thing, clearly traction is an issue for you. Seat tiem is key for 60 foots, lower the tire pressure down to 25. Are you power shifting?

post a slip I wouldl iek to see the rest of the run

Well with a 2.40 60' time, your doomed right from the start. A good set of DR's should fix that though with no other mods. M/T or M&H would be good. Hell even Nitto DRs if you going to be in the 13s.

What worries me, however, is the mph. With little traction, ET will certainly suffer, but normally MPH is still close. SO, that 98mph is concerning. It needs to be tuned, its not making the power it should.

you def need a tune. I have fewer bolt ons than you and a canned tune running a 13.4 at 105 on 20" street tires. Like stated above, just some more seat time and a tune you could shave a second off that time.

The off road X pipe needs to be tuned for like noted above..Without cats its probably telling the computer all sorts of shit, and the cpu may be making it run very rich..How has your gas milage been since the mods?

Gas Mileage went down from an average of 20 mpg to like 17 or so....so that would make sense that it is running rich. I will look into tuners, any suggestions?

you can either just get one from brenspeed or bama tunes (i personally used brenspeed) with an SCT (and you might as well get a CAI at the same time $500 something dollars..not bad..best gains for where you're at). the pipe needs a tune for the lack of cats...

you cant go wrong with a dyno though, most personal and probably get you a little more..

also when i had several mods, i was running rich after a little i had my car dynod and i had been in the 240rwhp range! so you might want to check, this could be your case as well
