Hood opinions....

I have the GT500 front bumper and I like the stock hood but I want something a little more aggressive. What do you guys think? Not sure if I want a GT500 hood but Im seriously considering it. Thought about doing the Saleen. Also the Eleanor BUT I think I may want a "heat extractor" type hood. Not so much a Cowl hood fan either. The SS or KR hood may look pretty sweet all white.

Anyone have pictures of their favorite hoods? Or should I keep the stocker?

+1000 to cowl hood. With your front setup it looks so sweet. ive seen it done ill try and find the picture of the guy who had it looks so good! plus everyone has a gt500 conversion I see has a kr hood just my

That is what I plan on doing with the GT500 front conversion. I am going with the VFN monster that they have.

Did you get it from Trufiber? Ya I like it a lot because it's basically a cowl hood with some design. The basic cowl hood IMO only matches an older muscle car at best.

No. too ricey


Also jsut a FYI Trufibers quality is shady at best. Some require minimal prepwork some require extensive prep work and some just plain dont fit or are slightly warped. My buddy went through 3 of their hoods before giving up and going with a saleen aluminum

Damn that is nice. I didn't notice that one. will that fit a regular GT? Probably not huh? unless I put a GT500 front bumper.
