What kind of pressure is working for you guys? Hoosier doesn't give any recommendations. Running 28x13.5-15. I'm thinking about starting at 15psi leaving at 4500 and going from there.
Basic setup: Saleen S/C ~450rwhp, stick, 4.10's, BMR springs, LCA, UCA, relo brackets in middle hole, & Koni STR.T.

sounds like I plan.

with DRs I like to start them at 17psi. get a few break in runs, then work my way up. +2psi until start to lose traction then down 1

I used to run 11.5x28 QTPs at 14.5psi with tubes on a low 9 second car so 15 is a good starting point. Can always air up if you are hooking well..

I won't be running tubes, but I do have bias skinnies up front now. Hopefully it is fairly stable at the top end. My 26x11.5-17 ET Streets were a handful with my 275 radial street tires up front. Not recommended!

Yea, I had a 10 second 4th gen f-body and I ran 16" bias ET streets and the stock 245 or whatever they were 16" radials in the front and it was a death ride lol.

The tubes were more for air not leaking out but they do get a little stiffer with them, I've ran the QTPs with and without tubes and they are a good tire.

i ran 14 at the least but varied it with how the track was. i also never had a problem with the QTP's "walking" like Mickey Thompsons with my street tires up front.

I run the 27x11.5x15 QTPs. Depending on track temperature and conditions, I run between 12 and 14 psi.
