I'd say the minimum length you want is 3". When I ordered my Bogarts, I got lug nuts with them. Whatever you order, verify the shank length and diameter, to make sure they fit the wheels, and they should be open-ended (NHRA rule).

Hmmm, this is something I know nothing about. Im guessing once I get the sway bar cut I can put the wheels on and measure how long the lug nut needs to be? Im probably gonna fuck this up...

You can measure it now. Use a dial caliper and measure the depth of the hole in the wheel. That should be the shank length. If you get the shanks too long, they will bottom out on the rotor before they clamp down on the wheel. Since the nuts will use washer, getting the shank length the same as the depth of the hole, will give you the thickness of the washer as the clearance. You can go slightly shorter if needed.

Then, use the calipers again to measure the diameter of the hole in the wheel. Get a nut that has a shank diameter just slightly less than the hole diameter. A few thousandths smaller will be fine. If you get them too small, you'll have some slop in the fitment.

Once you have those measurements, go HERE and continue to narrow down the search (using the length and dia).

Or, call Rich Bogart and order them directly from there...

Aren't the stock studs 2.5"???? Personally, I'd still get 3" studs. Having that extra 1/2" of thread engagement is a good thing. And it won't change which lugnut you'd use (since they are open ended anyway).

So these... http://www.lethalperformance.com/05...19_1895/arp-rear-wheel-stud-614-knurl-p-10631

or these... http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=ARP-100-7703

Whats the Knurl size? Both say they will fit Ford rear disc brakes. $12.95 or $65? hmmm

Stock is 1" threaded and these are 2.5" threaded but I think the overall length is 3.5"
ARP wheel studs have a higher strength and tolerance level than any other fastener on the market, 2.5" threaded length (compared to the stock 1" threaded length), an overall length of 3.5", and are cadmium plated for maximum corrosion protection. These chromemoly steel studs are heat-treated and have a 190,000 psi tensile strength rating.

Personally, I think 3.5" is too much, but that's just my opinion.

And I'm not sure about the rear, but this was my stock fronts:

Depends on what lug nuts you use on the street. I bought these nuts for my street wheels and they look/work fine.

The knurl is .614 and the only studs that fit that are the ARP ones for our mustangs. I could always get a .625 for the 04 mustang ( 2.5" stud) and drill out the holes in the axle a bit. I think there would be enough clearance in the wheels?

Or I could go to a .610 and get a 3" stud...

So, are you saying the stock knurl in the rear is different that in the front? When I did my fronts back in 2006, I bought 0.594" knurl studs (3" long), and I had to have the hubs drilled. I didn't mess with the rears at all... the Moser axles I put in already had 3" studs in them. NHRA rules dictate aftermarket axles at 10.99 anyway.

And I'll say it again... I don't even see the point of putting in 2.5" studs. Too short IMO, and not much different that stock.

The ARP's are 3.5". Front is .594 and rear is .614

Where did you buy your axles? When they tech you how do they know if they are aftermarket anyways?

I got my used back in 2006 from Dave Beyer. As far as tech, there are no center caps on the rear wheels, so they can see them.
