How low is TOO low...

I think this is it...

That is 2.5" to the frame rail, before adjusting the suspension up by half an inch.
Some of the obvious reasons why this is too low...

What I don't have a picture of is my trans temp gauge which had gotten up about 200.
Since adjusting the ride height I haven't had any problem with temps raising or scraping places I shouldn't.

The sig pic is actually quite a bit higher off the ground, as those tires actually had sidewall.
It was nice meeting and talking with you as well Dale.
I've been scraping for about 3.5 years, but when its causing me to bottom out on an interstate and getting the transmission all hot and bothered, I say its too low.

yeah you're car is lower than even I would dare go... put some tires on it lol. I think i have about 3-3.5" to the fram rail on mine, i can lean my iphone on the side skirt and it will stand there.

Yep it was too low, 3" seems to be about perfect. I don't scrape where I shouldn't and the transmission is staying within good operating temps

Getting that low was a result of changing tires, and not trying to be cool like all those ricers. I adjusted the ride height up by half an inch within a week of getting the tires on. This thread was meant to show what not to do.
