I bought a '14 V6 that had a mild hit to the rear end as a "project" car. It did not come with the rear bumper cover and the trunk lid panel trim is gone. After checking it out more closely at the damage, the passenger side frame rail got pushed in a bit (pic 5 is side view, pic 6 is form the bottom), the bumper bar was bent but nothing too bad but what seems to be the worst is the spare tire compartment got dented up pretty good (pics 3 inside, 4 is outside). I think all this can be straightened up but what I'm wondering is one, I'm pretty sure the trunk lid is straight but in the first picture the side of the trunk panel and the light aren't lined up. The light appears to be pushed in a bit. The other thing is the right rear wheel is up a couple inches compared to the other side. This is in the second picture. Aside from this damage, the rest of the body is straight.
Basically trying to figure out why that quarter panel is up. Could it be from the hit or might there be something else going on? Trying to figure if this is worth fixing. Waiting on a call from a body shop with an estimate on straightening it out.
