It helped me a great deal, just wondering if doing that helps the autos more than the sticks........netted me .5 in 1/4 and .3 in 1/8 mile.

You know I like you Terry, but that right there is crazy talk. There had to be some other significant variables in play. Did you also remove 500lbs of ballast from the trunk too?

oops forgot about headers.....adding the headers is the only other thing that I did add. but only saw a .1 drop on et in 1/8. the only time I say a drastic change was when I stated using the p/s delete. Also glad to know that you like me Don, I like you too......but only in the "one guys enjoys fellowship of another guy" way............lol.

Seriously though, the p/s delete is responsible for my greatest reduction in E.T.'s cause I have done nothing else. So if not .5, then at the very minimum .4

your full of shit

I tell you all what. I will try to get some local forum members to come to the track with me so they can be there to verify what I am saying.

My best, even after header install was an 8.43, ALL I DID WAS CHANGE TO THE SHORTER BELT AND RAN 8.17 and thats not even letting the car cool off. Before you tell me I'm full of shit, try it yourself man, it only cost 30 bucks, I will loan you the money if you need it. anyway its "you're" full of shit :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO:

I will try to get hawgmon to meet up with me......cause you all know he "tells it like it is"

Terry, just give me a call or something, and let me know when you are heading back to the track. I'll come out there and record a couple runs for you. IMO, I never saw you run before you did the belt swap, but I did see you run 8.1's at Kennedale that day I met you. Not sure if it was 8.0's or 8.1's.....

Terry, What were the weather conditions during the before and after runs? I went to the track three times last year and my results depended heavily on the weather.

First time it was cool and we had a wicked tail wind, ran consistent 105 mph trap speeds, on a canned diablo tune.
Second time is was much hotter with a head wind, didn't get past 102 mph, using a 93 octane tune from Bama. I know the car was more powerful than the first time, yet I was far slower.

Oh man, my car is damned finicky, If I make back to back runs, I lose .2, I was working with the shorter belt during the colder months so weather and temp was pretty consistent, 55ish 95% of the time. My best with temp at 75 degrees is an 8.23.

I do understand the significance of temp and humidity. The DA was around 1200 +/- 100' during these runs. track altitude is 843

fuck it, going to do some pulls with and without tomorrow or monday and will let you guys know the difference. I have had some people tell me that bypassing the p/s pump is only good for 20 hp or so, its just hard for me to believe that 20 hp will net you .2 or .3 in the 1/8 mile, know what I mean
