Went to Bradenton tonight for test and tune. My previous best was a 13.04 at 106mph, this was a couple months ago when the temps were in the upper 70's to low 80's

Tonight was my first time at the track since I installed my Steeda aluminum driveshaft and BMR Fab. LCA's, UCA's, UCA reloc., Adj panhard bar. Track temp was around 91 at it's hottest, and it was still 88 (and about 80% humidity) at 8:30 when I did my last run. Best time tonight was a 13.34 at 103mph. So my mph and et both went up since my last visit.

My 60 ft times also increased. Last time out I was cutting 1.9x 60fts, tonight the best was around 2.x

So again, how much of this could be attributed to the weather? It's also an hour drive down, so I'm not sure how much the car really cooled off, even though it sat for a good 45 minutes before my first run

Yea I went up 2 tenths , heat is a killer. I am going to get an electric water pump. It can run when the car is off and cool it quick. It may free up 10-12 RWHP also. I wait till the last minute to run the car before midnight when it is the coolest. The track closes at midnight.

I see at about a 1/2 second difference between 60* temps and low 100* temps. Baffled the hell out of me until I figured out what was going on. I mean, I would make a mod or two and expect improvement, and would go slower, and then reverting the change back, would go even slower even with the same setup as faster times earlier in the year.
Then I saw it on some datalogging, differences correlating to increases in temps. Doh!

Probably more pronounces being F/I vs. N/A, too.

The way I look at it, most other people are running slower, too. So I go out, learn some things, and have fun! And of course, look forward to cooler days/nights later in the year to see how times improve.
