It will turn better, but be careful accelerating hard off turns. It does make it "looser" or have more roll oversteer.
DD and drag racing you should have no issues with the angle you have. Road racing you would want a little more parallel.

I run a little angle in mine for auto xing to help it turn, but that's just me. Most will disagree with me about that.

Yea I gotcha, street and strip for me! :thumb:
I have to front sway bar so that will contribute to the looseness.

Good thread.

I have the same brackets with CJ Springs and run the top hole.

After reading what BMR Tech said I may switch to the middle hole and see how that goes; I may have to put some hair around it to find it though.

Haha. I made it really really bad intentionally. I just wanted to fit in. Doh! Did it again!

I don't think i will ever make use of the bottom hole.
Too extreme for me, but I'll try anything once.

I run mine in the middle hole on street tires. I just bought some Weld RT-S wheels and drag radials so things might change. My car is lowered on BMR springs. Here is a pic to show my angle.

Especially with a N/A car with a manual Trans on the street. At least it's too radical for me. Mine is lowered and I run the middle hole.

A 700 HP SC drag car running an auto Trans could probably make good use of the bottom hole.

I do the exact same thing. Our courses around here are tight, so I like to utilize the hp and apply a little "rear steering".

As I keep beating my personal best every time out I am content! Good 60 should get me in the 12.3's in cool weather, I trap 110 when it's cold out :beerdrink:

That's about where mine is on the top hole, how much is your car lowered? thinking about at least making the rear ride height level.
Not sure if they sell that much of a tiny drop springs.

I've never driven a stock GT so I can't say. I believe they are about 3/4" lower than the GT springs though. And I bought Koni yellows about 6 weeks after buying the car so that changed the handling and feel as well. But I'm very happy with the suspension setup and have no plans of ever lowering it.

The code tag on the rear Bullitt springs is SAR. Same as the standard height CJ springs and I think the V6 springs also. They pop up in the classifieds here once in a while.
