I've never seen an Eaton blower from the bottom. Are those four ovals supposed to be there, or were they "added?"

Either way, it looks like Ray Charles did that porting! I'd be royally pissed if I were the owner.

The four 'ovals' are silencer ports - I guess they're supposed to let excess air back INTO the blower housing to quiet the blower down overall. Some guys actually plug them and claim that this makes the blower perform better. As far as I know, no one actually makes them bigger when porting a blower (except this guy, apparently).

HOLY SHIT! My 13 year old could have done a more competent job... I would be so pissed!

:highfive:

Considering neither myself or my 15 year old have ever torn into an engine this far? I would still rather give him a shot and me to clean it up than this craziness....

Patent Pending G.B.D.P.P. (Golf Ball Dimple Porting Process). Golf Ball Dimples, for better "drives".
