Simple right?
99% of the members here are good stand up guys and gals who treat each other like they wanna be treated. This is so we can keep the classified section guys, if this doesnt work we could lose it. I personally have spent thousands among you on my parts, I like this section and will do whatever I can to help keep it. Lets follow the new rules and trade/sale our stuff among each other in the pursuit of going faster...

VENDORS often drop ship parts and can't physically take a pic of the part, they are allowed to use an internet pic in their ads as part of their vendorship. These rules pertain more to normal members in the classified section selling "their own stuff"....
1. Post a pic of YOUR part you are selling, not some factory or internet catalog pic!

2. In the pic, your screen name must be written on paper and laying with the item being sold, so we know it is YOUR item and not someone elses pic you are trying to use as your own.

3. Location! No location, no sale ad!

Good stuff^^..And remember everyone, nobody likes/wants to get scammed. Although the new rules wont guarantee you wont get fucked, it will help alot. DONT, I repeat, DONT send money through paypal as a gift, you are asking for trouble. And even with the new rules, it is still buyer beware. We will keep an eye on things in the classifieds, but at the end of the day, you still need to do your homework before sending out the $$ on a part.

Honestly with the new rules I see people selling items faster. This is a win win all the way around. Be sure to use I TRADER ! Any questions let us know.

Also when selling a tuner it probably would be a good idea to show the unlocks! :) Lets keep the classifieds!

What about people listing items that are not there item and that they found it on ebay! IMHO, if you dont have an item to post up that is yours then why post it leaving a doorway open for someone to get fucked!

no offense to people who do this, why take the chance...

Because buying off eBay us generally safer than buying on an open forum. Most everyone I've seen to this (including myself) clearly states that it's not their item....just passing along a deal they found.

I've bought a couple items like that which another member 'found' and shared.

I'm not in charge....but I don't see anything wrong with it.

they ebay remark was just an example...the point i was trying to make is if people post something up that is not theirs...just my 2cents, trying to look out for us.

my intention was not to piss anyone off from the comment, maybe there is nothing wrong with it. just passing along another idea thats all

Always going to be a rip off's it is what it is people. All I can say is use I trader and if the deal is too good to be true chances are it is and thats when I see people get ripped off the most. NEW Whipple complete HO kit! $1,000k Shipped! lol DONT buy it! Also it is your responsibility to make sure the part being sold fits your application or you have to take a chance.

This is an internet forum not paypal. If you get slicked over after these rules are in place and 5 people moderating the post's then you need to take the right action to save your own butt. Either through paypal of credit card or whatever you need to.

If anyone has issues please PM a Mod and let Kimmer breath a little.

How long until someone starts photoshoping ads from elsewhere on the web?
That kinda stuff right there is gonna cause the classifieds to be closed.... Think it wont happen? Anyone remember the kills section? Thought so. Do the right thing, this is so easy to do my son helped me this mourning by getting the paper and a sharpie... No sense in debating it any further...

Most all of the members on here have been asked or informed to follow these new rules, yet people continue to post the inccorect info. I am not speaking for the other mods when i say this but from now on if I know you have been informed and you are still not doing the right thing, im not gonna lock your thread Im gonna delete it and you can deal with more senior mods to get it back.... Its getting old guys... Dale

I was wondering why it will not let me post. It comes with a message saying this
  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
  2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation

It let you post on WTB but your post count will have to be higher to list in the forsale section.....

DO NOT post a FS thread if you dont have pics yet. I will lock it. Too many threads I will have pictures later. No picture no thread!
