How well do these cars hang with the LSX powered vehicles?

That'd be cool if GM did do that for the camaro...

I guess i'm one of few guys who enjoy all muscle cars despite the make...

The LSx is a great motor, there's no denying it. That's why I posted my experiences a few pages back.

I like Muscle Cars besides Mustangs. Just not the overrated, overweight, ugly cars that GM puts out currently. If Dodge put the Challenger on a diet I would probably own one, but I'd rather not have a boat.

Well, I heard the LS7 will be going into 2014 Camaros as a Z28 option ... No offense but I think a lot of 3V owners won't be able to keep up as well as some 5.0 owners.
I'm not concerned with keeping up myself, don't really care.
As far as the 5.0's are concerned I think they will be fine, they are only going to make that camaro land yacht heavier and mess up the power to weight ratio. And I don't see ford just laying back with the power anymore.

Well, then its time to add more power to the 3v.

Sure a 5.0 will do it at a lower boost but 1000 hp is 1000 hp and then it goes way beyond the motor as to how fast the car goes. Hp is HP.

EDIT: Not to say an LS7 is weak sause by no means.
Cars like yours I don't think will have much problem, if anything you could always up the boost since you have a built motor but those that are running on the edge of the stock internals might have some issues keeping up.
From what source? As far as I know, there is no Z28, it's just GM fanboys hopes and dreams for a car to match up to the Boss since the ZL1 has a hard time with it :roflmao:

Even if they drop a LS7 in a Gen 5, it's still the same heavy, ugly, and overrated platform. So nothing a mild bolt-on 5.0 can't handle.
Apparently this is a GM Dealer VIN card for the 2014 Camaros

Whether or not that is real idk but if it is I would be interested to see what they run and what they can make out of them.

Neither do I, when I finally get my build underway all I care about is one upping myself each time I go out to race and getting my car as good as I can get and run consistently but that is just me lol.

I remember reading an article that Chrystler is bringing back the 'Cuda under the SRT name, and it'll be a lighter version of the Challenger. Also that it'll have a coupe and sedan option, in addition to a few powertrain choices.

I highly, highly doubt that is real. Especially coming from Camaro 5. They like to make shit up and stroke each others dicks just to say their Camaro is worth something :roflmao:

Jumping in here late but I ran a 14.01 @105 I'll have to check the slips (do have) to see my 60 ft. that was on a intake tune OFX 3.55. I was thinking i would have had a better time it was at a good track. But was 58 that day (stock tires and bad syncros in 2nd)

Same here, I haven't seen anyone pickup the story yet and why put the Z06 engine in a Camaro lol. If it is true, it is interesting for sure to see what they will be able to do in a much heavier car.

The LSx is to the GM fanbois what the new 5oh is to the stuck up Mustang owners!

Hey now! We're not stuck up, we just have a badass motor. What motor in Ford history has done what the 5.0 has in NA form? It's ok, I'll wait...

^Wait, wut?
What exactly has the 5L done in NA form?

Hmmm, lets see, run 10s with bolt-ins, something that a 3V needs a built motor with boost for. Please educate yourself before trying to argue "what exactly has a NA 5L done in NA form."

(I truthfully couldn't give two shits less. I just like to stir the pot/talk shit about it because there seems to be tension on this board regarding the subject.) :boobies::boobies:

Wasn't looking for an argument.
Seeing as you're just obviously retarded.
Here read.

I'd say this is one motor that does just fine from ford.

Next argument will be it doesn't count since it wasn't in a "production model" vehicle. :roflmao:
