Okay, since I have started my procharger install it seems I threw down a gauntlet. My buddy who had the C-6 Vette with bolt ons has parted with it and now has came into a C-6 Z06... its bone stock and he has drag radials only. Now, I have FRPP CNC Ported heads, FRPP cams, FRPP TB, FRPP intake, BBK LT's and BBK OR X and Borla mufflers. Gonna run 8-9psi and hoping for 500rwhp 460ish rwtq. Which I should get, so tell me guys, How do you think Im gonna do from a drag plain ass dead stop to the quarter. I ran a best of 12.1 all motor at 112-113...I hope I will hit high 10's with the boost...

10's........you could only do that once at my track then they would black flag your car until you install a roll cage.

I say past 130 you are losing the race. That is if you are racing past that MPH on the street.

You should beat him handily if he is stock..Even if he has drag radials you will beat him..I am assuming he will run a 11.3-12.0, depending on how good he is. If you have already ran a 12.1 @ 113, you will destroy him..

I ran a couple stock Z06s from 20 rolls. I had sticky tire and they were on street tires. I would instantly pull ( i had 465 rwhp with a Whipple) a car on them. By 100 they would start reeling me in. Shut down at 140 and they both had me me by about 1.5-2 cars and pulling. If they could have hooked they would be past me at 100. Just my personal experience.

I think the z will walk you with a good driver and dr's like you said.

Thing is this guy has an ls3 C-6 with 100 shot...seems to me that would be like a stock Z06, which his is other than a tire...On motor to motor I had him with no problem...on the juice he put 4 cars on me around 100 (started leaving me around 60)....now with the charger I estimate 140 more wheel hp so I think it will be close, just my math but im objective, this is a Z06 C-6 we're talkin about and even stock they come well enough to destroy stock GT500's so we're gonna see, hope it goes my way..

On the street I think it's a drivers race that will be won on the launch. If you run to 120+ he'll like come around you.

A friend of mine with the older C5 Z06 has been running 11.4's with just a CAI/tune and drag radials. So I don't know what the power differences are between the C5 and C6 Z06's are but it's going to be close for sure like most others have been saying.

c6 z06's make around 450rwhp stock. At 3200lbs
power to weight= 7.1:1

OP how much does your car weigh?

Gt with a ts blower at least 3600 lbs, if you make 500rwhp
power to weight = 7.2:1

On paper the cars are close, the zo6 having drs', aero, and gearing(he will shit less often) will give the slight advantage to him.

Driver race, with equal drivers, the z has the edge.

Rule of thumb is a gt needs around 100rwhp more than a c6 zo6 to pull it comfortabley, so at least 550rwhp.

I raced my buddies Z06 back when I had my Paxton.... We did a 20-140 race... Niether one had much traction....once we both grabbed around 50-60ish we were side by side until about 85-90 and he pulled away from me... About 2.5-3 cars by shutdown at 140....

Lol at your hp goal. If u try and push 9psi you will be over 550 rwhp. I'm at 505 with the c&l intake and comp 127500 cams on 6.5 psi.
