I've owned half a dozen Mustangs, starting with my first car, a '65 coupe. From there I graduated to the '66 fastback that I still have today. It's got a roller 5.0/T-5 from a '91 Mustang and has most of the aluminum/forged go-fast stuff thrown at it.

When the S197 first came out, I ordered a wingless, porno red interior GT that I absolutely loved. Promptly had a kid and sold it exactly a year after taking delivery. Needless to say, I still miss that car.

So now the plan is to shop for a replacement. I still have a year left on the lease of the family car (a Nissan Leaf, let the jokes begin), and I'm spending that time to re-educate myself and find another 05-09. 5.0's are great and all, but I can't get past the body styling. If I'm stuck with a slower 3V, so be it. I have the '66 for when I want to drive something rowdy.

I have some friends on here from other forums and real life, so I'll take this time to thank Danny (46Tbird) for directing me here.

(Apologies for potato photography)

Just for giggles, here's a pic of the first car circa 1993:

And a pic of the current daily driver:
