Do they have a tendency to be blown out or burnt up???Mine has a nice purple ring around them right where the o2 sensor mounts..LOL..And you can smell then after a good hard run with the paxton...

I nuked two sets of stock cats within six months. If you're FI, delete your cats or you'll be sorry. Ask Boozshey.

One year with stock cats, no problems I'm aware of.

Catless is not an option for me. Lately modified cars in my area have been hauled in for inspections. Catless is an $1000 fine and it's really easy to spot (smell, hear) an uncatted vehicle.

LOL you lucky dog!
In the Communist country of California, no cats is a no go and a sure fire way to get your car taken in.
I got a fix it ticket a month after getting my build on the road, because my exhaust was way too loud. So I welded some Magnaflow CARB compliant cats into my Kooks off road x-pipe this past weekend. Hopefully they don't burn up too quickly.

I've been running with my stock cats for 3 years and haven't had any issues at all. As long as your tune is not too rich, there is no reason that they would get clogged.

I agree. Factory SC cars come with cats on them!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can see them eventually being blown out though!

Knock them out and leave the hollow chambers welded into your pipe that way you could almost lie your way out of a ticket. Well uhh officer they must have blown out. hahaha

Yes, but factory SC cars typically aren't running very high boost. Once you start upping the boost you better start thinking about getting rid of the cats.
