My car usually idles around 750rpm but now the car idles at 1000rpms and will stay there especially when stopping for a light, stop sign etc. it will idle at 1000rpms. The car feels fine and i have been running the same tune i have always ran which is a dyno tune from chris rose(AM,Tillman)

what the fuck is going on, is this a sign that something is going to give? Yes the throttle body looks pretty damn clean inside.
This just started two days ago

I could be wrong, but I feel like I would not worry about that. I know when I switch my tunes (say a perf tune to a race tune) the car does not idle right intill I drive it for a little bit.

Spray some carb/choke cleaner around all the vacuum lines and the intake manifold while the car is running, if the idle changes then you have a leak.

If it isn't a vacuum leak, then try re-loading your tune and doing the idle for 10 minutes, idle for 7 minutes with the A/C on full.

If it never happened before and the tune has been in for a while I would have to say vacuum leak as well. and do what he said about learning the idle.

alrighty guys, quick fix. Just got a chance to pop the hood right now and indeed it was a vacuum leak. The tubing for my mechanical boost guage seperated from my brass tee fitting causing the leak. Quick repair and test drive and issue is fixed. Thanks to all, i appreciate it

Is that a normal thing that needs to be done after flashing a new tune?

I was about to say, I've never had to do any special procedure for idle after reloading my tune....
