What differential is in there? What was the 'problem' you had with the trans?

If it's just the diff - you might make it. My car hasn't even fired yet and with the huge rings it needs at least 300 miles put on it before it can be pushed so it's not looking good for me to be there.

I'll be following Don also. My brother-in-law will drop off the HD video camera tonight. Only problem with it is he can't download the recordings. I'll work on that. Plus I'll bring my video/camera.

I talked to Adam at 10:30 last night and it is still up in the air right now if my car will be there or not.

I was thinking the same thing. He won't quit working until he's happy with it.

Can somebody get hold of Adam about 11:30 and get an update? I don't particularly want to make the 2-hr drive each way if it's going to fall apart.

update...

CANCELLED!!!

Talk about bad luck - my car is done and just getting tuned and the first pull on the dyno, Adam's dyno takes a dump!!! Blew the dyno 02 sensors and fried some other stuff and can't get the dyno fixed till tomorrow.

The big Irwindale meet is changed to NEXT THURSDAY. Adam will NOT be going to Irwindale tonight either. The ST shootout is still on but postponed for next Thursday. Should be better anyway as Dean and everyone else will be ready then too.

Yeah - It will be next week for sure as my car will be finished and broke in by Monday and dean should be stout for then too so all in all it will be better to have everyone out there running.

It does suck about the dyno....

BTW: Just in case anyone is wondering, the first pull on the dyno lasted exactly 2 seconds and all Adam did was tap the gas pedal about an inch and the car jumped to 12 psi and rumbled like an animal. He said he has re-named my car to...'the beast'...
