Hi everyone,

Lately I had to change the engine coolant and took the opportunity to change the thermostat housing too, to the aluminum one. I used this SKP SKRH144D, but since I did not know that thermostats could have different settings, I did not check before installing it.

Has anyone used this particular product (housing model) and can tell me at what temperature does the thermostat open?

I noticed that the temperature is holding in the mid spot (as it should be) but with the previous thermostat, the temperature used to go down a little when AC was switched on.

When I disassembled the plastic housing and got out the thermostat I found 92C punched on it (197F), but I do not know what the new thermostat reads anyone has any idea?

I hope someone has used this product and can help me out about the temp.

Thanks

I have that same one on mine the thermostat in mine is 192 degree so more than likely that is what it is. Unless they just sent you the housing.
