You don't have to edit them with the filters. I prefer not to actually. The point of the app is to share the pictures, so there isn't much to get.

It's a completely different network. I like it since it is simple and I share my love of cars and other snip-its. I'm on twitter and I rarely use it since I don't really care about sharing my thoughts (even on facebook).
