Epic fail thread. Ive delt with the guys at livernois time and time again with nothing but good things. Deal with them personally before you make a stupid thread attacking them. Rick if your looking over this thread don't even bother posting brother.

Again I ask......who is this mysterious "someone"?

By the way......r-e-c-u-r-r-i-n-g. And this one........ "DO it nice or do it twice"............

Where the hell did you get that? Let me remind you of something:

"How come there's never enough money to do it RIGHT but always enough money to do it OVER?

Thing is in this day and Age everyone think's that aftermarket parts are un breakable or will last forever -_- Like valve springs for instant... like they never have to be changed again because they are after market -_-

I tell alot of people.... no matter if you have a $500 motor or $50,000 dollar motor *points at pro 5.0 car* If you don't maintain, keep over reving or have it tuned proper shit is going to break... so mater what piston or rod's you have

i know its a case by case type of deal. the one is on another forum i know i am prob gonna get rpped apart for reading anything of ral value on moddedmustangs. thy got a thread going on it. The last couple of monthsi have bee hearing and readingabout people with issueswith there stage 2 and 3 heads.

Those heads i was interested in because people have had success with them but all of the sudden these problems keep coming up with them. WIth my luck i prob be one of the unlucky few they got pos heads, thats what i am concerned in.

that is a very good point and i agree, but shops do fuck up i was a victim a ouple of yrs ago on my 2v. The thing that matters the most to me is do if the shops stand behind there products or work minedidnt and it was a clear cut case of half assingwork.

There are a lot of variables to this story. This guy is also a member here, buy a different yet similar name.
His car has been tuned by one of the worst tuners anywhere around Western Canada. Not saying this entire oiling problem is tune related, but I'm will to bet money this motor has been detonated at least a few times.

Livernois is not perfect, but they are NOT anywhere near the shit show that MMR is.

i agree i kinda of over exaggerated on my point. It just seems very uneasy on the mind whe people bring up topics of engine failure or damage and livernois stuff is on them a lot, now i aint saying its there fault or anything it just makes u think twice because of all the co winky dinks lol.

BBR had a bad reputation on the internet 4-5 years ago, when they were one of the first shops to start offering 3 valve stuff. Their regrind cams are in question and have "silently" been replaced by their billet ones to many customers.

Fox Lake, I can't say I personally have heard of any serious problems. But I don't search the internet near as much as some others do.

RGR built Marks super engine, and timed 1 cam 180º out.

I can with all those companies listed. But what would be the point? Any company that is doing any business at all is going to have issues here and there. That is the nature of the business. If you are looking for a company that has zero issues you're going to be dealing with a company that doesn't know anything because they just opened!

Good point, i guess t all comes down to the companies that have good customer service and stand behind their products. If i am wrong let me know and also how to choose a brand to go with.

In business, its not about making the mistakes, its how you handle fixing them. Any business....
