Yep, I've had these conversations before. The last one went like this:
Dude: Nice Mustang! So where did you buy those 5.0 emblems from?

My wife's Toyota RAV4 4x4 V6 has 269hp. 300hp isn't a big deal anymore. Shit the new V6 Mustang's and Camaro's have more hp. Less torque, but more hp.

Well, it took all of 10 minutes for someone to chime in! LOL That's why I put that caveat in my post.
The point I was trying to make was, to MOST drivers, 300 hp does sound like a lot of power. On your drive home this evening from work, school, massage parlor, whatever, count how many cars on the road have 300 hp or more. Not as many as you think, percentage wise.
300hp isnt much anymore because cars are heavy as shit.
Ive driven 300hp cars that are very, very fast.
