2 hours and 15 minutes pulling the timing cover to do it.

With my pump gas tune I made 636whp and 544wtq few days ago. Just before pulling the cams today, I made 635whp and 543wtq. With no other changes other than the 127550's, I made 692whp and 570wtq. I will post the pictures and video when I get home. They sound really good too.

I don't know, I didn't check. I can put a vacuum gauge on it.



Here is a photo of the final pump gas numbers. The HP and torque below 5,000 RPM's is identical to the 127350 power even though the boost is down 1.5lbs.

Tomorrow morning I am going to dyno it with my race fuel tune and pulley. With the old engine, I made 743whp with a 100 shot of nitrous. I think I might get close to that number without it.

I will be driving it to Montana this year. I will let you know when.

Even though the pump gas tune is tuned very safe, I am going to de-tune it some.

WOW... That is huge difference, 57whp and 27wtq difference! I want a set of these cams!

I forgot to hook a vacuum gauge up today. I will try and remember to do it tomorrow.

I put about 60 miles on the car today. Other than the rough idle, it drives great. My tuner had to spend some time sorting out the air idle integrator tune and the dashpot settings because it would die when coming to a stop. It's runs great now.

We had it on the dyno this morning to test the race fuel tune. The race fuel tune has 20 lbs of boost and 23 degrees of timing. We fired the car up and got a TB error code. It turned out the FRPP TB took a shit. We put a stock TB on it and made a pull. Historically, the bigger TB adds 5-10 whp and wtq on this engine.

On the old engine, I made 743whp with a small nitrous shot and 23lbs of boost. This new setup equals that without the nitrous and less boost.

Although I would still like to know how much vacuum you have at idle, you've already answered my question. I know of more than one person that has installed the 127550s, and had braking issues due to low vacuum and had to install a vacuum pump and reservoir.

Not sure why some have vacuum issues and others don't as I'm not sure of each one's specific mods which could affect vacuum.
