ANYWHO!

buddy of mine owns his own import company and brings cars from japan over all the time. So, I got talking to him jokingly about bringing a low mileage mustang over.. he then looked at me a with a straight face and said heres some sites, find something and lets make it happen. I didnt think he was serious but the man can do some sweet things.

So i start looking for some foxbodies and SN95s when I stumble on this

Mint looking condition, only 46k Kilometers on it, pretty well stock and gorgeous color too.. ideas start brewing in my head... some nice 03-04 chrome staggered 18x9 and 18x10.5 wheels, springs, front lip... make a wicked cruiser.

Im currently waiting on him to text me once he gets a hold of his broker over seas. Hell get me all the info he can on the car, Im curious to find out what the repair on the car was. He told me it could be anything from a small insurance claim to a large accident. So pending what it is (hail, windshield replacement, small fender bender) should be good to go. Unfortunately if the front end or rear end was destroyed and repaired, then well...

and before anybody flames at the second one I know it looks a little gay with those fender flares and wheels but im looking at the power plant and the low mileage also. None of that would stay the same if it got in my posession.

Ive only seen him import RX7s, supras, skylines, 180sx`s, and other JDM cars but never a mustang. If we go along with this would be pretty interesting what all the other japanese car loving crowd would say when they saw a mustang in the shipment lol

Is it really any different than the US version besides the side mandatory side marker lights? It'd be cool if it has unique to Japan/export features you can't get here.

Wow that 90 is cool. Exactly how expensive is it to get one (R32) and the upkeep/parts.

Wish the 33's were legal but the 32 is so clean.

It can get expensive. Some parts off the 300zx twin Turbo models fit. One of them an engine had to be rebuilt. It can be a risk as to what your getting cause it's across the pond. I would suggest anyone who does get one find a tuner who knows what they are doing.

How hard is it to get it in the states? As far as licenses and all that goes.

Probably a lot tougher and obviously more expensive... Since S15s arent legal to import into Canada yet doubt they would be in the states but may be wrong.


Update on this. The repair on the vehicle was from the original owner hitting a dog with it and front bumper being replaced. Minor but good on the seller to mention it.

1 owner, 46000kms, dealer maintained all its life. To get to my doorstep would be about 7500 shipped. Probably another $300 for me to do an out of province inspection, toss some wheels on it (03-04 staggered cobra wheels) id be about 9500 into it. What do you guys think?

I think you can get a nicer new edge for that price range! It has more power not much more but still more and easier to make it look good with some aftermarket parts.. Thats the route I would go! It's not anything to get a sn95 even though it's coming from Japan it's still a old,underpowerd turd.
