First I would like to thank Tucker for getting me this unit so quickly so we can track test it on Monday. :hi:

I am dialing in the tune today and tomorrow and will finish final tuning at the track on Monday.

Its a great unit, fit and finish is awesome and installation is a breeze.

Track results coming very soon. :beerchug2:

The JLT sticker you see on the inlet was put there by me, it does not come that way.

Thanks,

JJ

Does the shroud hook up to the cold air vent below the intake?

Looks like high quality stuff. Nice.

Tucker I thought the Ugly noise tube hookup was going to be located on the bottom so we had a choice for those that want sound and those that think its an eye sore?? this was one of the reasons i was waiting for yours , so i could delete it,,

Same tube, but we lowered the fitting and include black caps in each kit.
JJ is running the tube and I am not.:beerchug2:

Also, yes, the heat shield uses the grille air inlet duct.

Thanks

Looks good. One question though. Is the right bottom corner of the heatshield directly hitting the cars paint? If so it won't be too long before it rubs the paint away.

No, the only area touching the paint is the mounting tab/bolt down area

Every one comes with a cap to cover the connection completey and you can rip the stupid hose out.

Looks cool, that's for sure. I like that there are provisions for the sound tube, either to use or delete.
