Magnaflow Stainless!

Thanks Eric. How has your (or others) experiences been with the Magnaflow cats? I have had catylitic converter failures on my mind recently. I have been able to find a failure of some sort amongst all the major LTH manufacturers. I know tuning and use play a large factor in durability, so user error might be the culprit.

Thats what we have seen as well. If your air fuel ratio is 10.5-1 expect to have some issues down the road. The cats are not designed for that.

Here in the shop we have not really seen an issue with cars under 650 rwhp, and that are properly tunned.

Also 2 steps/rev limiters will kill them.

The Cams are still in the testing phase, We have tried one set i have a diffrent grind on the way now for testing purposes. We want to have all our eggs in one basket and see what works the best before we just start selling some thing.

know when the 1 7/8s will be out?

Im not sure at this time, thats a pretty good read on the comparison posted above.

that read is good and all, but it has been proven so many more times, nitrous cars make more power with a bigger header. free flowing catback or cutout, wider lca, and more exhaust duration. That was an s/c car, close but the dynamics arent the same. Turbo exhausts and s/c exhaust are totally different and rightly so.

Doesnt mean i wont jump on the 1 3/4 beacuse they are def making more power then stock, just prefer not buying stuff twice.
