Ok ,I bought my 08 GT over a year ago and have been living with the front end clunk since purchase.Though It seemed to only be coming from right side it was still annoying and made car feel cheap.Fast forward to a few months ago and I decided to lower my front to match the rear with Roush springs.Only lowered about an inch. While at it I installed the GT 500 upper strut mounts thinking that was the fix for sure. It wasnt, car was now making noise from both sides. We went back through the front end and re-torqued every bolt to spec.Front end still annoying and making noise.I then read about the new tie-rod ends Ford made.I bought them and new GT500 front arms because i read the lpwer arms could also be a problem.I had all that installed by my guy that works on my car along with new factory struts and all seemed ok.Not perfect but better.I also installed my new SVE Drift 19"wheels.The car seems better but still not quiet. Is this as good as it gets?Has anyone fixed the so called "problem areas" and still had noise?

Seriously, try tightening the end links some more. I had the same problem awhile back.

Who sells these updated endlinks? I'm about to torch my front end as well. With a flame thrower.

I had the clunk despite tightening everything up. Did find out it was the sway bar end links. I switched to Koni Yellows and tightened the snot out of the sway bar end links. Clunk is gone. Might want to try a star washer under the nut and tighten the snot out of it. It is the sway bar end link moving in the hole in the stock strut. The star washer may provide some grip.

Try unhooking the sway bar end links and drive it. If it doesn't clunk you know what the problem is, if it does look at the strut mounts.

I had a similar clunk, and changed everything as well. My noise turned out to be the sway bar brackets (the "U" shaped ones) were loose at the radiator support. They appeared to be tight, but definitely were not, and that was my problem.
