I would wait until the 14's are out. Last thing you want is to be in a position of wanting a new 14 and having to do it again.

I Agee. The 15 coming out in 14 will have a new platform, lighter, and probably with a direct injection 5.0. I wouldn't buy another S197 if I already got one. That's just me. To each, their own. Get what YOU want!

I'm waiting for the '20. LOL.

I wouldn't do it simply because of the loss. I've done that twice in the past three years and it really puts a hurt on the pocket book. Stick with what you've got for now. Wait a while and see how you feel in a year. There will be plenty of them left to buy in a year if you still want to do it.

I thought long and hard on this myself. The conclusion I came away with:

1. 6th gen Mustang will have IRS. Deal killer.
2. 2013 was somewhat appealing but I knew there wouldn't be much wiggle room on release. Not sold on front end.
3. End of year deals on the 2012's were way too good to pass up.
4. I could re-use my 2011 parts on the 2012.

I traded my 2011, paid the car off completely and got the 2012 GT A6 for just over $26K. Monthly payments went down $75 a month for same loan terms. A bonus was I got the color I wanted to boot. I would have kept the 2011 if it was an auto. Nothing wrong with my M6 however it was going to become increasingly difficult to reach my goals the further I went with it.

I would keep the 2011, and at least wait for the 2015 redesign to come out.
