Killer Chiller Advice

I am seriously debating on purchasing one and I wanted to hear from anyone who has the Killer Chiller and how much you like or dislike it.

I went out on a cruise last night with some friends and we were going down some winding roads really pushing our cars hard. My IAT's were at 206* at some points and my total timing was dropped down to 8*. Cruising around the IAT's are normally around 140-150 with an Afco (non fan H/E).

I would like an unbaised owners opinion from someone not trying to sell me a unit.

Are there any concerns I need to be aware of pertaing to the system prior to purchasing one?

Things like:
1. Sacrificing inside A/C
2. IAT's cool for only a short term but warms up after hard driving
(I do understand that it runs with the A/C and the A/C kicks off at WOT)
3. Sweats at the track and drips water
4. etc.

Anything you don't like about it?

I have a convertible so I do not miss the AC. But you can use the AC to cool the water and the cabin if you want.

I have never had IAT's as high as yours, but I have seen 170+ before the KC. On the street with my car it can handle anything I throw at it. The IAT's are over 20 degrees cooler than what they were with a standard HE. At the track I run the car for 5 minutes after a run to cool the water down, yesterday the water was 44 degrees in the tank after 5 minutes. After that I run my fans and pumps for 10 minutes to cool the car.

3. Sweats at the track and drips water
I have no interior AC and have insulated all the lines so I do not have any drips. When I was talking with Joe Kincaid about this issue he recommended adding a hose to the AC drain to route the water onto the hot header. That way it would not drip on the track. He also said some people use a catch can.

4. etc

I love mine, no issues. If you race the car a lot I would lose the interior AC so you don't have to worry about the dripping issues.

Hope this helps, if you have other questions let me know.
