You mean rebadged Tokico's? Yes they have "Ford Racing adjustable shocks". One set are D-specs, the Boss dampers are actually even older tech. Remember Tokico Illumina's that have been around forever? That's what those are. I know the name "Ford Racing" gets folks revved up, but if you realistically look at things, it's nothing special.

I dont know. You are probably right. But journalists are liking the handling characteristics of the BOSS. Especially the adjustability and what FRPP dampers are doing for the car.

Imagine what the journalists would think if the car had Koni Sports/Yellows on it!

Journalists also liked the handling of the new GT, and the Track Pack GT before that. And the normal GT before it. Doesn't mean we can't do better, and we can.

I don't know anyone who has set their car up with stiffer rear springs than front, and with a front swaybar that literally sticks. And few who know what's up (as opposed to those that just buy kits based on size) opt to use such big rear swaybars.

Are the shocks better than OEM normal shocks? Sure, I'm a big shock fan I think most know that. But let's not go thinking these are magical, Moton type shocks. They aren't even Koni level.. they aren't even D-spec level IMHO.

Another soon to be Koni convert! I'm currently on the D-specs using the Ground Control conversion kit. I'll be using the same with the Konis and will be sure to post a comparison. I've been on the D-specs for ~5 years, and have been fairly happy with them until I started playing with spring rates and finding the issues you run into when rebound and compression is linked.

Thanks for the time on the phone today, Sam.

I know you've all seen it before, but anyone who is considering a suspension upgrade on our cars should call Sam. *Maybe* he's a few bucks more (and that isn't really the case for most parts), but sheesh, people, you are more than getting that back in the suspension advice you'll get. Seriously.
